This update is seriously LIT. Ive been waiting for additional colours and they are amazing and so pretty! The new feature allowing for straighter lines is the cherry on top! Just in time for my first test in med school

Everything is perfect, but would you please add the swipe pagination like other pdf annotators. Its very difficult to read big pdf files this way. I use notability as a pdf annotator as well, it works perfect but it really needs swipe pagination. Also, it would be great if the tool bar becomes hidden if you tap the screen. Thank you :)

Great app! A huge help for me in my university classes. The new tool for straight lines make this app even more useful and practical to use!!! A must for IPad and school

I use this app for note-taking during the entire course of the day. I love all the features (especially the new straight-line one they just added). This is an invaluable app if you take lots of notes with the iPad Pro with Pencil

This update is good, but not great still. There is still so much potential here. MAKE A PERFECT SHAPE button. Its so useful for circling, making charts etc so much easier. Although the straight line addition is nice, its a pain to have to sit and hold it as well as do one line at a time for drawing.

New straight line feature is an excellent addition. Only thing I dont like is being able to remove inserted images after theyve been added to a note. And Id like basic shape recognition like squares and circles. Great for checklists.

This is likely the best Apple Pencil app for note taking (and Ive bought everything on the market). Unlimited vertical scroll, smooth strokes and an excellent, yet simple UI. I teach math/CS at the university and I will be using this app as my golden standard. SUGGESTIONS: One thing that is missing is the ability to add custom preset for pens. I typically need a black, blue, red pen, and I dont want to have to open a menu to change the colour... If I have to do this often, then its too slow to change it from a submenu. Theres plenty of space left in the menu, and I think you should allow the user the ability to choose what to put there. The option to have the toolbar on the left/right side of the screen (edit mode) would also be great. This would allow me to use my left hand to change the tool, while my right hand is dedicated to holding the pen. Finally something that I loved from Evernote was "auto sharing" where notes in a notebook are *automatically* synchronized to, lets say, Dropbox.

Great app for notes. I use it every day for college. The only thing that would make it better is if it was possible to create folders within subjects to further sort notes.

The app is really good. It takes care of all you and notetaking without the pesky monthly cost of Evernote. They have a desktop app for Mac but still nothing for windows.

The app is smooth and i just have a suggestion for features. Its be nice if theres an option for the eraser to erase the part that the eraser covers instead of the entire line. Erasing the entire line is useful most of the times, but occasionally Id want to only get rid of portion of the line. It just would be a nice extra thing to have

I have been using Notability for almost four years now throughout my university career. This is by far the best app I have found for note taking of any type. It is very user friendly, keeps all your notes well organized and allows you to import a variety of files to write or type on. I would highly recommend this app for use with the Apple Pencil, as it makes a blissful experience for note-taking. 10/10 would recommend :)

Love the straight line tool, just amazing. I would love to have the ability to open two lectures/notes side-by-side view instead of having to open two note taking apps splitview mode on iPad Pro, please please.

Tap and hold to zoom isnt working anymore! Is anyone else having this problem? Please fix!

Can you change the highlight and make it darker with straight line like Word Microsoft. Thank you.

I have used this app for several years to take notes at conferences and lectures. Both the handwriting and text entry functions are excellent. Palm rejection works fantastically well with Apple pencil for handwriting. Zoom entry for handwriting works extremely well and is my go to for entry. For those of us who still prefer to handwrite notes, a handwriting to text transcription function would be icing on the cake, especially for distributing notes later on to others following meetings, etc. This function would give this app a glowing 5 stars.

I have been really enjoying this app. With the latest 2 updates I can no longer import PDF files from my iPhone.

This app was amazing until I couldnt import PDFs or documents from other drives or downloads...

I see others are having issues getting material in to the App. My problem is I am now not able to move a document to dropbox or attach it to an email. I have tried many similar products but there is no comparison to this App when it functions properly. Its a 5 star become an almost useless 2. I will change this review to a 5 if the problem is fixed.

I used this app throughout my entire Masters program and currently as a catch all for the various Boards I sit on. I love it but now this version crashes with large PDF files non stop. Almost non-usable.

Same issue as reviews below, new update cannot import any of my ppt or pdf files make the app essentially useless
